FIRST HALF !

I enjoy a lot the first term of this year, especially because a meet a lot of new people. In academic terms it was a good term, I pass all subjects with regular grades, taken in care that I have 8 subjects, in this term to. I was able to go out this winter vacation, I went whit my girlfriend to the central coast, but we first went to Pomaire and the Melipilla, we were “Conejeando”, in the road we were deciding our destiny, son after Melippilla we went to san Antonio then Cartagena and after that to el Tabo, and then to Isla Negra and we finally went to Algarrobo to a cousins house, we did all that in 4 days. It was a wonderful trip, for both of us, but especially for Marina because she is from another country and didn’t know the central coast. After that trip we take a rest of two days and with some friends we went three days to San Jose of Maipo, we have the luck that when we just arrive it was snowing.

In short terms it was a good firs half of the year . . . I hope that this one it’s better.

LAST ONE !

Nininiiiii this is my last post . . . I hope you enjoy it, I know …it wasn’t a very entertainment blog but I did my best to give some information and points of views, that I hope help someone. Well in this post I’ll write about my experience doing this blog, as an weekly English assignment
This is my firs blog, in the past I had tried to do one . . . just for the coolness, but I really never did it. So this was some of that things that once I have the intention to do but I didn’t do, ja! that is a score for me.
Like an assignment It`s was useful in a way to improve my English, a little bit it help me to practice mi writing, and to think issues in English. I note that I need to improve my vocabulary, I’m really shorts of concepts. Also this blogs help to do a more didactic class, and to use the internet and its tools in several ways, like the blog, doing research, using translators etc.
Sometimes I enjoy to write on my blogs but also other times I didn’t have much energy and enthusiasm to do it so I only do it as an assignment, writing the basic about an issue, but in the other hand there were times that I really like the issue that the assignment treat so I make an effort to write a good post, for example in the post about photograph, in this post I tried to explain in short words mi interest about the photography and in some way how I feel it, it wasn’t very hard and I really enjoy it. Other post that I like were the one about the anthropology links and the one about my career. Well thats al folks, see ya.

Favorite Subject

This term I had a lot of goods subjects but the one I like and enjoy the most was culture and environment. This subject it’s in charge of Juan Lebert. The things that I like about this subject are the way that the subject goes in form and content. In form because every tree week we have a lecture control, were we have to applied the lecture whit an example, and between this controls we have to give a presentation about some issue related to the matter talk in the class. So this methodology make us applied the contents of the subjects, so we interpret and use the subject in a applied and reflexive way. In terms of content I like it because we are seeing thing that we already see or have ideas about but in this subject we give it a way, and order, another perspective that help us in the understanding of the matter.

A piece of future

Now I’ll talk a Little about the expectations that I have for my future . . . . recently I haven’t thinking a lot about it . . . I just want to pass this semester because it has been a hard one, so I don’t really have the energy to think beyond July, that I leave it for the next semester were I hope I found a good theme for my thesis, now I have some ideas but they are not really clear, the next year I must have a clear idea to finish this career. After that I might take a post grade, but sometimes I think is better star working and then in two o 3 years more take a post degree. So as you can see I don’t really have a clear picture of my future beyond a few years, but I know that I want to travel a lot, live in other cities and keep studying, learning. I may be living with some friends, not alone. I know I want to be in peace whit my self and whit what ill be doing, surrounded whit people that I care and love, I want to be fine whit normal problems. There are some things that I hope about mi in the future, but there are lots of other things that I've expectations: about other persons, situation, from the society etc.

About Anthropology . . . my career

Before anthropology I enter to Bachillerato, that’s a kind of College, a kind because you have to take the Psu and enter like any regular career. We used to joke about it, Bachillerato it’s like a 5th of high school, you have 15 obligatory classes, like mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, history anthropology etc and 5 that you choose according to the area that you want to fallow. The bases classes are in almost every career. The meaning of Bachillerato it’s to know the different careers in the university so you have more time and experience to pick the career that you really want, and obviously you can join this career by the program of Bachillerato, so also you can choose Bachillerato to enter a career that you didn’t make it whit the score in the Psu.
I enter Bachillerato because I was confused, I didn’t know what career I want. In the beginning I liked almost everything, but in the way y realize that I like more the areas were the arts and the letters were included, like humanistic, social and artistic areas. Well, after a year I decide that I want Architecture or Anthropology. I always like more architecture, I think I have lots of faculties for that career but I always had in mind that anthropology some day was going to captivate me, and at the moment in some way did it. From the beginning I have some distance whit the anthropology, basically for the fact that I didn’t know too much about it, just the superficial things.
This it’s a social science, so it tries to do studies from a methodology and a theory, using several techniques. The focus of these studies are the human being, dividing anthropology in three areas: Physic Anthropology, that’s studies the more biological part of the human being, centering the studies in the material being and his evolution it’s the more scientific area. The second area it’s the Archeology that focus his studies in the past cultures by the material rest that this cultures left. And at last Social anthropology that studies the social and cultural phenomenons. This are very basic, traditional and superficial definitions of the different aspect of the anthropology. Because it’s a career that like almost everyone evolves, change in its foundation and has several point of view of itself, deferent’s theories. There are discussion about itself that are happening in this moment . . . sometimes is in a lethargy and sometimes it’s in a furious evolution . . . that obviously in some way depends in the discussion and evolution of it of the other social science, flow of thought, disciplines etc. To resume this is a very wide Career that uses elements from a lot of others careers and disciplines, because of its focus of studies, the culture, the human being.

Now something about this and me !

I there, these was suppose to be my first post but by thing of life I put it now. This is the introduction of my blog, where I tell you what about me, who m I, and what’s this all about.
Well well . . . first of all this blog It’s about me, and whit that I don’t mean that I’m going to talk just about me, but it’s based on my interest. I’m not going to tell you which there are, that we are going to see it in the way. Well in the formal side, my name is Ignacio Gonzalez, I lived in Santiago the capital of Chile, a country well known for its wines, cupper, and a lots of products exported to the first world, but Chile is more than that, sometimes (almost every time ) I think this country it’s in a bubble and if all the people look around whit a little humility and a opened mind they realize that we are in a (/&&%/& country because of (the church, the conservator class, the dictatorship, the political class etc etc ) . . . . . . But ok, that we can also discus in the way and maybe changed in some way. Aaa and I almost forget it, I’m a anthropology student and I’m in forth year. That’s all folks . . . for now.

Photograpy

I’ve always had some passion about the photography. I like it because you can keep a moment out of time and space, a moment that you chose, is a perspective delivery picked, a own vision of something, where you can set the time, light, place, focus and colors about it, so it’s not only a own perspective of something, it’s a perspective that can in some point escape from reality. I really like every type of photo but I like especially the ones that bring me back a memory. Like the old family pictures, or from the school, or the photos from a trip. In my room I have two frameworks of photos, one it’s a family picture where is my dad, mother, my tree sisters, mi grandmother, and mi aunt. The picture was taken by mi uncle and it was in Iloca a beach in the south of Chile, a very cold beach. The other frameworks have 4 pictures from different places, but in all pictures are my sisters and I, and in one is also my dad, I can’t really tell when where they taken. I also like to see like professional pictures, I mean pictures taken by people that have a technical and esthetical background, people that in some way reflects about what are photographing, have and idea.
